Background:
Kerner is a German cross between Trollinger and Riesling. It was bred in the heart of Württemberg's wine region at the Weinbauschule Weinsberg (LVWO) in 1969. It is ideal for growing in the special climate in Württemberg and some other regions in Germany.

Color and Flavor:
Kerner is an easygoing wine with a very delicate aroma, a little bit spicy with a long fruity finish.
